I am grateful

for all the days I can stand and walk
For all the nights I sleep, and noons I can talk
For the breath of life
for the people around me
for all the sufferings and strife
that made a human out of my indefinite identity

for all the love that surrounds
the heartaches that made me listen
to what distance had been shouting out loud
for all the little things i possess
the smiles of my friends
the giggles of kids i can hear
the beauty of the sunset
the warmth of every mornings
the hands given to writing
the heart for caring
the graces that keep coming and I keep counting
despite the restlessness…

we all share some story of pain, of discomforts, frustrations,
but all these, are evidences of the great gift each of us have…
LIFE.

I am grateful I am living…
and i had learned loving…

Sundays are supposed to be spent catching up on sleep and rest but last week, the wave891 jocks had to spend it at white avenue for our tvc shoot. It was a tiring day for me since my wkends start around 4am. Good thing I didn’t have to worry about my hair and make-up, thanks to my friend Albert Mutuc and his staff who took such good care of me… (thank you so much sweetie!)

It was a long afternoon of shooting for our much anticipated and long overdue tv commercial but it was worth it. The jocks had time to hang out and chill while waiting for our turn in front of the cam The guys spent it playin poker, while some of us relied on some reading material to keep us entertained ( while munching on some chips and seeds..ahaha.. Everything went well and  we hope to finally appear on screen real soon. check out our pics from the shoot over our facebook accounts. Tc and godbless!

October 25th…

the final day of this cycle…

unlike the previous years, i’m not caught up with anxiety or weighed down by petty concerns..and more importantly i don’t feel lonely anymore =)

suffice to say…everything is just as they should be…and i’m happy about it! i guess after everything i’ve been through the past of couple of months, i am now eagerly anticipating my new adventure…after a seemingly dark autumn and cold winter comes the great promise of spring =)

I got the chance to write down some thoughts about a new inspiration..well,it’s not really that new because i’ve felt this way for quite some time now…it’s not like the usual crush or admiration I felt before. Rarely do I get to like someone this much but I guess there’s just no reason for me not to admire this person - his soothing and calming presence, his intense yet gentle eyes, and the strength of his spirit, and his magnetic personality.  Unlike the previous crushes I had in the past, this one is totally different.

It’s not the crazy kind of fleeting emotion that you know will just eventually die down nor the suffocating or nauseating type of emotion that clouds one’s judgement and I am so thankful because it just makes things a lot easier for me.

I don’t really have the sense that I want to possess this person nor do I have the urge to pursue a relationship with him ( not that I mind it of course…lolx) but only if time/destiny permits this to happens or dictates it to be that way. I have nothing against it if fate brings us together and we end up being more than just friends, but I choose not to meddle with the affairs of the Higher Power.

Whatever happens I am certain that I will continue to admire this person and I am content with this even if I am looking at him from a distance. Rest assured, that person should know that he can always count on me whenever he needs me…thank you for your presence in my life. I like him. I admire him. It’s as simple as that. Om shanti =)

October 22, 2008

Before blabbing on with my thoughts, let me just take the time out to greet someone on his special day =) HAPPY BIRTHDAY NEIL ANTHONY PASCUAL! May God continue to shower you with everything you deserve ton =)

It’s already Wednesday…this week felt like it was just flying by swiftly…with just about 4 days left before the outreach, I am overwhelmed with the feeling that everything is falling right into place…everything is just as they should be and I am at peace with it. =)

Let me thank the people who have sent me birthday messages as early as today…mille grazie! To everyone who said a prayer for my lola… she’s not out of the woods yet but she has already been discharged from the hospital but will be undergoing dialysis treatment…Please pray for her bodily health to be restored and for my family to be at peace with anything and everything that could possibly happen in the next couple of days, weeks or months…

It felt like deja vu…It was exactly a year ago when my tita rose was also confined for a couple of days at st lukes due to cancer…she passed away last december 19, 2007…and just this week, it was my lola’s turn…her kidneys are slowly failing her…she tries to put on a brave face each day I visit her…I don’t really have any idea how many days or weeks she still has with us but regarding her health, May God’s will be done. She was released from the hospital yesterday afternoon, and my dad and some of our relatives abroad will be coming home to the philippines in the next couple of weeks to be with her.

I would also like to thank all the volunteers who will be joining me for the air angel outreach project on sunday. You have no idea how much that means to me and to the girls at the foundation. Thank you for being angels =) The final list of 20 volunteers was finally completed this morning and I will post it by tomorrow.

To the sponsors and donors, May God continue to shower you with everything you deserve! Jay Buen (Sun Pacific Travel and Tours), Mr Les Reyes (Reyes Haircutters), Claudine Serrano (Unilab), Mrs. Cynthia Tiutoyco, Tita Lou Tansengco, Prof. Antoinette Bass-Hernandez, Anne Asis, and to everyone else…muchas gracias!

To my good friend Alma Concepcion, thanks for being an “ate” to me…for all the words of wisdom and the stories we shared and for your help in the outreach =)

To Chen Espina, you truly are THE PINOY IDOL…thanks for your help…love ya chen!

To Ms Alona, Jason, Paolo and the rest of the guys from k247…thanks for your continued support…for drying my eyes and for making me smile…hehehe…salamat ng marami! I will see you guys on Sunday and of course I’ll watch your gig at mugen…i miss the good old party days hehehe =)

And last but not the least, to my family, my WAVE891 family, my MAPUA family, my NCAA/ABSCBN SPORTS family, my wushu and muaythai family, my UPSA family, and everyone else…thank you for being such a blessing in my life…i love you guys! om shanti! =)
